  • The possibilities are endless! Graduations, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, parties, corporate events, alumni gatherings, photography & videography shoots, family events, art shows etc.

  • Please fill out the contact form to get started. We will check availability and reply within 48 hours. Rentals are first come, first serve based on signed agreement. We require all renters schedule an appointment to stop by the space for a tour. We do not rent site unseen as there are unique house details that we prefer to review in person.

  • The Foster can accommodate 40 guests for the inside of the house and up to 80 inside + the side porch and yard.

  • Yes! We have a full kitchen for you to set up food and beverages you bring. We are also happy to recommend and refer local catering.

  • Tables and chairs are included (15 tables, 40 chairs for the inside space). The table dimensions are 49” x 30”. Table cloths can be provided if needed with additional tables available for outdoor events.

  • We let guests into the space at the designated start time indicated on the agreement. Please take set-up, tear-down and clean up time into account when determining hours needed. 

  • Depending on the size of your event, we have dishes, flatware, glasses, greenery, candle holders, barware, etc.  We’re happy to help create the perfect table for your gathering!

  • We will review all housekeeping rules and entry instructions during your tour. As this is a historic property, we have an obligation to take care of it and expect the same of our guests :)

  • Athens is a walkable town and The Foster is a walkable venue! There is plenty of parking in front of the house on East State Street but we also encourage guests to walk if possible. Shuttles and car service from local hotels can also be arranged if needed.

  • Glitter, open flames and illegal drugs. We also do not allow command strips on the plaster walls or the removal of any art throughout the house.

  • The Foster guest space is on the first floor and we are handicap accessible.
